As for me... I did not dislike it. Hadn't I undergone Hawking's simplified explanations of quantum mechanics, or maybe the textbooks I have stated just before, I probably would not have found the written content plausible in the least. I suggest, the guide itself did not really feel effective at shifting the reader's presently recognized beliefs. B
